Congratulations on 3-5 MCAS

Congratulations to all our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for successfully completing the MCAS tests that were administered over the last 3 weeks. A special thanks to the teachers for all of the work they did preparing our students for the tests.

Last day of school

The last day of school for Kindergarten is Friday, June 15th. The last day of school for grades 1-5 is June 20th. It will be a half-day for the students. Report cards will be given out at the end of the day. Teacher assignments will not be on the report cards. The class lists will be posted on the school doors on Friday, August 24th. If you prefer that your child's name not be posted, please notify me in writing and I will remove your child's name. You may call the school after August 24th to learn of your child's classroom assignment.

New school transition

If your child will not be attending the Kittredge School next September, please notify the office. This will help ensure a smooth transition for your child to the new school. We cannot send records unless you complete the necessary paperwork.

After 35 years of service to North Andover Public Schools, Nancy Jukins will be celebrating her retirement! Please join the North Andover Community as we honor Nancy with a reception. Light refreshments will be served. All staff, parents and students are welcome to attend!

Town Election - Tuesday, June 19th

A special town election to vote on an override question has been scheduled. We encourage you all to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the issues and exercise your right to vote.

The Town Election is being held Tuesday, June 19th at the North Andover High School Field House from 7 AM to 8 PM. Be sure to register to vote in order to participate in the election, voter registration deadline is Wednesday, May 30th. The Town Clerk's office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 pm, with extended hours on May 30th until 8 PM. 5th Grade Brooks Day Field Day
Friday June 15th, 9am - 2pm

North Andover Foundation for Education

The North Andover Foundation for Education is launching its t-shirt fund-raiser. The t-shirts are white with our crest on the front, and our local sponsors on the back. Girl Scout Thank You

Girl Scout Troops 256 and 573 would like to thank the Kittredge school, Ms.Jukins and Ms. Wood for allowing them to meet each week at the school. As a way of expressing our gratitude and performing community service the troops weeded, mulched and planted the front flowerbeds for the upcoming Learning Fair on May 31st. Many small hands worked tirelessly in the heat. A special thanks goes out to Peter Breen for donating the mulch. We hope to encourage taking pride in your community and volunteering your time to improve the spaces in which we live and work!
