The placement teams will be meeting before the end of June to create class assignments for students entering grades K-5 for the 2007-2008 school year. The placement procedure is a very involved and thoughtful process. Factors we consider for placement include academic performance, achievement, gender, as well as social and personality factors. Written input from parents regarding placement for students in the fall of 2007 will be welcomed until Friday, April 13th. Please include in your comments what you see as the learning style of your child and the class environment in which you believe he or she learns best. A request for a particular teacher cannot be accepted. Our goal is to create classes balanced academically and socially to meet each learner's needs. Any letter stating the name of a particular teacher is disregarded and not considered for placement. Please send your letters directly to Nancy Jukins, Principal, for careful consideration. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Nancy Jukins
When dropping your child off in the morning you must pull up to teacher on duty before dropping your child off in the morning. Please do not drop your child off at the main entrance. If you arrive at 8:25 AM or later please bring your child to the office to be signed-in.
Please remember that if you are changing your child's routine dismissal routine you need to notify us in writing. Also, children are not allowed to ride a different bus home other than the one designated on their bus tags. Walkers and car pick-up students may not ride home on the bus with another student. We appreciate your cooperation with these safety rules. Thank you!

North Andover School's Enrichment Council Representatives NeededThe North Andover School's Enrichment Council ('NASEC') celebrated its twentieth year of volunteering in our schools this year. We are a non-profit council, representing each of our five elementary schools and the Middle School. Our mission is to provide balanced enrichment programming in Music, Theatre, Art, Dance, Science, History, and Language Arts.
Our programs function best in schools that provide several representatives who regularly attend our once-a-month meetings. I have enjoyed seeing wonderful shows, making new friendships in other school systems, enjoyed monthly interchange with reps from other schools, and most of all, I have immediate positive feedback - watching the sense of wonder and joy on our student audience's faces. If you'd like to become a NASEC rep for Kittredge, please contact +1 978 681 1894
