It is the tradition on the last day of school to "clap out" the 5th graders. The staff and the students in grades 1-4 line the hallway on the 1st floor and clap as the 5th graders make their way down the stairs and halls and out the door. We also invite the parents of the 5th graders to join us in this tradition. In order to make this possible however, we ask that the parents of students in grades 1-4 do not enter the building at the end of the day. There simply is not room in our little building to include everyone. Please be respectful of this request so that the parents of the 5th graders can enjoy this special tradition. You will also have your chance to join in the celebration when your child is a 5th grader. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
