Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! I hope your winter vacation was refreshing and enjoyable. This week we celebrate Read Across America Week, in remembrance of Dr. Seuss. On Thursday, March 2, Dr. Seuss' birthday, all of the Kittredge classes will have a guest reader to help celebrate the day. Many thanks to Cypriana Slosky, Julie Nally, and Anne Bate for organizing the activities of the day. Thanks also to all the guest readers. We invite everyone to wear Dr. Seuss hats on Thursday.
Sincerely,
Nancy Jukins
Children go outside for recess unless it is snowy, rainy, or below 20°. Please make sure your child has appropriate outerwear for winter weather. Mittens, hats and boots should be labeled. A clothespin is a helpful way to keep them from being lost. Children are not allowed to play in the snow without snow pants and waterproof boots. It is advisable to keep an extra pair of shoes, mittens or gloves, and a hat in school.
