PTO MeetingTuesday the 14th of June: 6:30PM Board, 7:00PM General.
Volunteer BreakfastThe Kittredge School would not be as successful as it is without the many hours our volunteers give to the school community. To show our appreciation, the staff cordially invites all Kittredge School volunteers to a Volunteer Breakfast on Friday, June 17th, at 7:45AM in the cafeteria. Please drop me a note or call the office to let us know if you are able to come.
Community MeetingOur final Community Meeting will be held at the Middle School Auditorium on Friday, June 17th, from 9 to 11AM. The 5th grade will perform their Variety Show for the entire school, and each of the grades will do a musical presentation for the school community.
Parents are invited to attend, but because of parking, we ask you to car pool if possible. Because there is limited space at the Kittredge School, you may park in the Middle School parking lot behind the school. We will ask parents to sit behind the Kittredge School students in the auditorium.
From the Principal - Dove CampaignDear Parents,
The Dove Campaign is a project created to raise awareness of peace and to help children realize the importance of working together in a peaceful and cooperative way. You may have seen "Kids As Peacemakers" billboards in front of schools, churches and social organizations in the Greater Newburyport area. The Kittredge School has decided to become part of the Dove Campaign. Each classroom has selected one student to be part of a committee to design the 4'x8' Kittredge "Kids As Peacemakers" billboard. The children will create a design and paint the billboard which will be displayed on the fence around the school all summer. I am still looking for two or three volunteers to assist the students in this endeavor. It will involve two Wednesday afternoons, June 15th and June 22nd, and one meeting with me to organize the materials. If you are interested and able, please either call the school or drop me a note.
Again, thank you for your continued support of our school community.
Sincerely, Nancy Jukins
