Dear Families,
It has come to my attention that many children are purchasing 2 or more snacks at lunchtime. Sometimes they share them with classmates, and other times they throw their lunch away and only eat the snacks. Although it is thoughtful for children to share, some parents prefer that their children only eat what they are bringing from home. Therefore, beginning on Wednesday, children will only be allowed to purchase one snack, for themselves. Please encourage your child to eat his or her lunch before eating a snack, and remind them that although it is kind to share, children should only eat what they bring from home or purchase themselves. Thank you for your cooperation in helping your children to understand this healthy measure.

Winter Reminder!Children go outside for recess unless it is snowy, rainy, or below 20°. Please make sure your child has appropriate outerwear for winter weather. Mittens, hats and boots should be labeled. A clothespin is a helpful way to keep them from being lost. Children are not allowed to play in the snow without snow pants and waterproof boots. It is advisable to keep an extra pair of shoes, mittens or gloves, and a hat in school.
