From The Principal

Dear Families,

I hope you all enjoyed the Columbus Day weekend!

It has been a pleasure to meet so many of you over the past few weeks. Please continue to write or call to say what is working, what needs attention, and what you value as a parent or community member of the Kittredge School.

I met with Karen Keough and Cyndy Donatio, the yearbook chairs, and would like to keep you informed of their plans for the 2004-05 yearbook. They are excited to announce that the yearbook is going to be in color this year. Please begin saving pictures of any school related event you attend throughout the year. They hope to have a variety of pictures to choose from when they put the yearbook together.

In accordance with Section 2 of Chapter 385 M.G.L. c. 71, § 38R, the North Andover School Department requires all volunteers to have a CORI (criminal offender record information) check completed before volunteering in our schools. If you anticipate volunteering in any capacity during the school year we request that you begin the process now as it takes up to 4 weeks for the CORI check to be completed. You may obtain the required form from Ms. Jacobs at the school office. Please remember that although this may be a minor inconvenience, it is in the best interest and ensures the safety of our children.

Sincerely, Nancy Jukins
