School Committee MeetingAt the next School Committee Meeting on June 8th, one of the agenda items will be district goals. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting.
Field DayField Day is scheduled for Friday, June 11th, with a rain date of June 18th. Grades 1 to 3 will participate on the morning from 9-11AM and grades 4 and 5 will participate from 12:30-2:30PM. This is a fun and exciting day for everyone. The students will be on the playground for a long period of time and we need to plan ahead with some suggestions to keep everyone safe and happy. Please remind children that good sportsmanship is MOST IMPORTANT!
Children will need:
| Water bottles with their names on them | Sunscreen |
| Sun hats or baseball hats | Light colored clothing |
| Extra t-shirt | Shorts or comfortable pants |
| Comfortable and appropriate sneakers | Sunglasses (optional) |
Slip on sneakers (with no backs) are not safe to run in.
Flag Day Foot Race (aka Fun Run)By now, you should have received the information and pledge sheet. Please make all checks out to Kittredge PTO. The pledges can be sent in any time up to and including Monday, June 14th. Send all pledges in to school in an envelope marked "PTO/Foot Race." Again, remember to have your child dress appropriately for outdoor running and either apply sunscreen or send it in with your child.
