Kittredge is preparing a cookbook featuring favorite recipes from the Kittredge school staff and families. Please remember to have your recipe collection sheets returned to school by February 2nd. Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, February 10th from 6:00pm-8:00pm Kittredge will be hosting a fun night of rollerskating/blading at Skateland in Bradford, MA. This a great night for friends and families to enjoy some music, games and socialize with other families. Tickets will be available in advance or for sale at the door the night of the event. The North Andover Booster Club Little League (NABCLL) is extending its mail-in registration deadline to January 31st, 2004. All children ages 5 to 16 that would like to enroll in the Spring 2004 baseball season can download the registration form from the league's website at www.nabcll.com. Completed forms and registration fees must be received by January 31st in order to be eligible for the upcoming season. If you have any questions, call 978-681-1088.

This month's North Andover Parent Advisory Council for children with special needs meeting will be an open discussion for all members and newcomers. Please join us for an evening of information sharing and support. As those of us who regularly attend know, we often learn more from each other than from any other resource! Parents, guardians and caregivers are invited to attend. There will be no members of the North Andover Public Schools in attendance.

Spanish classes will be offered again this semester at Kittredge - Thursday mornings at 7:20AM in the Library, starting February 5th. Any North Andover student interested in joining the class can pick up a registration form in front of the school office or call +1 978 681 1894.

As the second half of the school year approaches, our library needs more volunteers on each Wednesday from 8:30-11:30AM. An hour of your time would be greatly appreciated to assist Abby Gilbert in keeping our library "top shelf." If available, please contact Amy Stavros at +1 978 689 3297. Thank you!!!

Tickets for the upcoming auction scheduled for Saturday, February 28th, 2004 at the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover at 6:00PM are available for $30.00/person and include Hors d'ouevres, Coffee, Tea, Desserts and Cash bar. Why not get a group of friends together and purchase a table for 10? The Cocktail Hour and Silent Auction will begin at 6:00PM and will be followed by a Live Auction. This is always a very popular event and last year's auction was sold out! Don't miss out; get your tickets in advance by contacting: Cheryl DiMartino at +1 978 682 7174. Tickets are also available at the Youth Center Front Desk.

Thanks to all those families who are collecting and sending in their BoxTops. So far our school has earned $175.50 and the amount only reflects BoxTops from September to October. Our goal this year is $500. I'm sure if we all try we can reach our goal. Also, please join the Box Tops Booster Club @ boxtops4education.com. With each new registrant our school will get 5 BoxTops. Reminder - please send in the BoxTops symbol only, no UPC barcodes needed.
