From The Principal

Important Chickenpox Information! Earlier this year, the State Department of Public Health passed new regulations regarding isolation and quarantine of individuals exposed to chickenpox. The regulations require that any student who is not immune from chickenpox be excluded from the school environment from the 10th to the 21st day after exposure. Cases of chickenpox have been reported in the Methuen and Andover school districts in the past week. If you have any questions, please contact your school nurse.

CORI Form Reminder

All volunteers working in schools must fill out a CORI form for a background check. If you volunteer in the classroom, in the library, or chaperone a field trip, you must fill out a CORI form as soon as possible. This procedure is mandated by a recent Massachusetts General Law that seeks to ensure the safety of all our children. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

North Andover Youth Services Holiday Gift Drive 2003

The Holiday Gift Drive is one of the many remarkable services that North Andover Youth Services provides in our community. Due to the financial hardships on some families in North Andover, many children would go without gifts during the holiday season. The Holiday Drive addresses this issue by organizing sponsors to donate gifts for children in need. Sponsors may choose any number of children they wish to provide gifts, whether it be one child or four. Each sponsor is essential to the Holiday Gift Drive being a success. Youth Services would like you to be a part of this event. Whether you are a family in need of assistance or one that would like to participate as a sponsor, we would like to include you this year. Please call Amy Mellman at 978 682 9000 x231 for more information.

Welcome back to Box Tops for Education for the 2003-2004 school year. Last year our school earned $300. This is a great way to help your school without giving away any money out of your pockets. This year they are adding some great new programs, such as "Box Tops Booster Club" and "Million Box Tops Giveaway" to help your school. Your child will be bringing home the list of all products participating in Box Tops for Education. So, please, clip and save and send in the coupons from your favorite foods and snacks.
