Dear James Carlson

This e-mail contains the basic information you need to label your site using the ICRA system

First of all, please save the attached labels.rdf file in the same folder as your copy of your website's homepage.

Then you need to arrange for the "tag" shown below to be included in the <head> section of each page on your website.

<link rel="meta" href="http://carlson-ne.home.comcast.net/labels.rdf" type="application/rdf+xml" title="ICRA labels" />

How you do this will depend on how you manage your site, which tool you use and so on.

If you would like to give visitors to your site a visual indication that your site is labelled with ICRA, and what the label says, you can include either an ICRA logo or a text link to http://www.icra.org/sitelabel/. When visitors click the logo or link they will be able to see the description of the content on your site.

Once you have added the tag to your pages, then you can upload the updated pages and the labels.rdf file to your site. (If you gave us your ftp (upload) information the labels.rdf file will already be on your site so that's one less thing to do!)

Full details, including examples and tips for users of leading web authoring software, are available from the support section at icra.org.

Making the most of your label
Once you have labelled your site you will be eligible to join ICRA as an Associate Member. Benefits include the right to use a special graphic on your website(s) and your printed material, priority technical support, and a listing on the ICRA website.

Thank you for labelling with ICRA.
